Just this afternoon 4 students were officially kicked from the hostel (and school) for beaten up 4 juniors. 2 of the juniors ended up in hospital, and needed specialists' attention.

And early tonight a male student was caught smoking and was canned in ayah's office.

And at 12. 25 midnight, a female student was caught dating with an outsider, inside the hostel compound. And I heard that they've noticed that a student was already missing, and believed to spend the night outside the hostel's compound, without any notice.

It's not easy to take care of some 300++ hormone-raging teenage kids. And I respect the staff for having the guts to do that. And I pity the mothers and their family for having to put up with such kids.

Budak2 ni tak bersyukur betul. Who said orphans can't be spoil brats?

(I'm blogging this fromt the principal's room at the hostel. And yes, they have wifi here. And astro. And lots and lots of kelapa muda. Felt like I'm already on my holidays hehe.)

If you love Johnny Depp and all his versatile acts, then I believe you would love this guy as well. His name is Oguri Shun, and he's famously known as one of the most versatile actors in Japan. Ok. Maybe the most versatile. Most would probably remember him as Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango (Japanese version).

I still believe he's the best portrayal of Rui as compared to the Taiwanese and Korean counterparts. Well, Vic Chou was has a terrible facial expression as Chan Chan and Kim Hyun Joong may have the best look as Ji Hoo, but he's simply a terrible actor. As least to my opinion he is haha. Erm. But Lee Min Ho portrays a much charismatic Junpyo (Doumyouji) as compared to Matsumoto Jun or Jerry Wang. If you didn't even understand what I was mumbling about, nevermind.

Haha. Let me just continue to ramble about this Shun. As I previously said, he's known as a very versatile actor in Japan, and like Depp, he's willing to go the the extremes for his drama/ movie roles. He loves being in the background (as i taking the supporting roles compared to the leads), but he shines through even acted as a chameleon. Trust me.

I first watched him in Hana Yori Dango during the Boys Over Flowers Korean craze. My first impression of him was that he's a good actor, but that's it. Nothing more. Later when I was totally absorbed into the Doramas, I watched another drama where he's the lead - Hana Kimi. He was portrayed as Sano Izumi, a self-absorbed high-jump sportman (as least to me he was haha). His character lights up a bit in Hana Kimi, and impressed me a bit more when I compared the version to the stonic looking Wu Zun (the lead in Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi). Later I started bumping into him in later dramas that I watched, but he was never in the lead role. I watched him in Gokusen acted as a soft-hearted bully to perfection, and later bumped into him again when I watched the sweet Densha Otaku, where he took up another supporting role as a genius (yet mysterious) computer geek. Haha - genius, mysterious and computer geek - how can I not be interested? And in each of the drama he acted, he sported different hairdos, and each suited his characters perfectly.

Having bumping into him so many times leads to my curiousity of who this guy really is. So I started googling for his name and his previous works, and bumped into this one advertisement on youtube, featuring him. And he impressed me SO MUCH for the whole 30 seconds of this video. And this vid has had me speechless of how talented this guy really is, and as to what extend he would go for acting.

p/s the preparation to make him a girl took a mere 6 hours, so go figure how many days they've spent for the 30 sec commercial.

And so I started hunting down his other works (dramas and movies). Oh. He's a dj and does voiceover too. Oh. He won 7 awards last year alone. Oh. He did stage plays as well. And so I became a fan. And so I want others to become one too. (am planning to watch Crows Zero, one of the most critically acclaimed movies where he leads --and won best actor--as a yakuza heir. Awesome!)

We were supposed to be introduced to each other 2 years ago. But it was never materialised. It's either me being not interested, or him being too slow. Oh well, jodoh tiada hahaha.

Well, after all the hustle bustle, he finally met someone, and is scheduled to have the akad tonight.

What I should be saying now probably: It should've been me.

but the problem is, what I heard myself said instead was: I'm glad it wasn't me.

I don't know what I'm thinking, but the mere thought scares the hell out of me.

. - BERITA HARIAN

Read all about it in yesterday's Berita Harian.

Sometimes I wish the ministers would think twice before making any statements. I'm not going to blabber on PPSMI issue, as I'm getting tired of voicing out my opinion in class. All I want to say is that I was part of the teams that were involved in the nationwide PPSMI research in which the results were presented in the round table sessions. So I know. Ok. And do you know how much the whole research costs? BILLIONS of the rakyats money.

And it made me sick to even think they rejected the resolutions because it might 'lack of facts and proofs'. I wonder how many facts do they need? And how much more would they spend on OUR money? And I pity all the researchers whom spent months (or maybe years) to pull out the reports and only to be accused of giving 'pendapat peribadi' for the Meja Bulat thingy.

Now I just wish that we would have an Education Minister with a real education background. And not just those who try to fit in the wrong shoes. Hmm. I really miss Allahyarham Dato' Hj Razali. He would fit in the shoes perfectly.

Someone asked me why I love to eat so much. And how I store all the food in my stomach.

Well, I love to eat because I was brought up in a family where food has always been the centre of everything. My family of siblings, pakciks, makciks and cousins are all food lovers, so I guess you could say it's in the blood. We genuinely enjoy good food. And if you think I eat a lot, wait till you see the rest of the family.

How do I store all the food in my stomach?

It requires skills that are hereditary. Haha. I've developed the skill of mentally organising the food in my stomach eversince I was small. And I think most of my siblings and cousins learned the same way too. Well, having pakciks and makciks who love cooking and enjoy eating help too. And the fact that we practised the food consumption strategy every Raya signifies our yearly training exercise.

Hope that answers the question.
